May 27 - Madrigals, Advanced Chorus, Intermediate Chorus
¯ Completion of all vocal assignments which includes:
Ø Concert pieces
Ø Test songs
Ø Major and minor scales
Ø Sightreading
¯ Demonstration of vocal assignments will include:
Ø Correct posture for vocal performance
Ø Correctly singing each note with pitch accuracy
Ø Correctly singing note and rest values
Ø Demonstrating skill and knowledge of given dynamics
¯ Demonstrate knowledge of general music theory
o Correctly demonstrate knowledge and skill of given rhythms in 2/4, 3/4, 4/4 and 6/8 meter.
o Knowledge of treble clef and bass clef staff ( note names)
o Piano/keyboard knowledge ( identify key names)
o Interpretation of treble and bass clef at the piano/keyboard
